James Stevens Associates is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our client, a leading Housing provider, maintains a strong compliance culture and adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain systems to identify compliance requirements, performance against standards, and track remedial actions.
- Assess evidence of compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across the business, monitoring and reporting on compliance.
- Make recommendations on changes to strengthen internal controls and approach to compliance and risk management.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of risk management systems and business assurance frameworks.
- Conduct audits and provide compliance advice and support across all functions of the business.
- Support compliance with Data Protection law through the provision of advice, logging, and monitoring issues, and signing off Data Subject Access Requests.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and directors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
