Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing our training programs to align with business goals, talent strategies, and meet all compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.
  2. Design and deliver talent management and leadership development programs to support the growth and development of our team members.
  3. Oversee the training and upskilling of Training Mentors and staff to meet CQC standards and provide high-quality support.
  4. Support the delivery of our Physical Intervention training program (ARC) and ensure key compliance training is up to date.
  5. Monitor and update our Learning Management System to ensure training records are accurate and scheduled as required.
  6. Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Work in partnership with our homes and other central functions to ensure Learning & Development is aligned with organizational goals.
  8. Introduce innovative teaching methods to ensure training sessions are engaging and effective.
  9. Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are meeting their intended outcomes.
  10. Stay up-to-date with training trends, developments, and best practices.
Requirements
  1. Experience in a training or development role.
  2. Good working understanding of organizational culture, business strategy, and priorities.
  3. Proficient user of IT, including Microsoft Office Tools.
Desirable
  1. Experience of working within a training role.
  2. A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to different homes.
