Learning and Development Lead

The Bridge is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that align with our business goals and meet all compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement training programs that meet business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and oversee our Learning Management System to ensure that training records are up to date and scheduled where required.
  • Ensure key compliance training is up to date, including Care Certificate, mandatory training and competency assessments of staff.
  • Contribute to The Bridge's training content and manage compliance for both in-person and virtual learning.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses on a continuous basis and provide recommendations to address gaps and/or potential opportunities.
  • Work in partnership with our homes and other central functions to ensure appropriate scope and focus for Learning & Development in the organisation.
  • Introduce teaching methods to ensure training sessions are meaningful and engaging.
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs' effectiveness and success.
  • Support the development of content, framework, process, training and tools for a comprehensive Management Development program.
Requirements:
  • Experience in guiding, supporting and training colleagues.
  • An understanding of CQC requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proficient user of IT including Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Experience of working within a training role.
  • A trainer or teaching qualification.
  • A good working understanding of organisational culture and business strategy.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to different homes.
