Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our learning and development needs and training programs. This will involve ongoing exploration into new learning and engagement methods, both live and digital.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, lead, and oversee our training programs to align with business goals, talent strategies, and meet all compliance requirements.
  2. Take a leading role in designing and implementing our talent management and leadership development program.
  3. Oversee, train, and upskill Training Mentors and staff to meet CQC standards and provide high-quality support.
  4. Support the delivery of our Physical Intervention training program (ARC).
  5. Monitor, update, and understand our Learning Management System to ensure that training records are up-to-date and scheduled where required.
  6. Ensure key compliance training is up-to-date, including Care Certificate, mandatory training, and competency assessments of staff.
  7. Contribute to The Bridge's training content and manage compliance for both in-person and virtual learning.
  8. Conduct comprehensive needs analyses on a continuous basis, recognize emerging patterns, and provide recommendations to address gaps and/or potential opportunities.
  9. Work in partnership with our homes and other central functions to ensure there is an appropriate scope and focus for Learning & Development in the organization.
  10. Introduce teaching methods to ensure training sessions are meaningful, engaging, and tailored to the audience.
  11. Monitor and evaluate training programs' effectiveness and success and report on them.
  12. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  13. Support the development of content, framework, process, training, and tools that support a comprehensive Management Development program.
  14. Update and partner with the Training Manager on a regular basis concerning relevant initiatives, programs, or applicable training changes.
  15. Experience in guiding, supporting, and training colleagues.
  16. An understanding of CQC requirements and compliance standards.
  17. Proficient user of IT, including Microsoft Office Tools.

Desirable:

  1. Experience of working within a training role.
  2. A good working understanding of organizational culture, business strategy, and priorities.
  3. A full UK driving license and the ability to travel to different homes.
