Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing our training programs to align with business goals, talent strategies, and meet all compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement training programs to meet business objectives and compliance requirements.
  2. Design and deliver talent management and leadership development programs.
  3. Oversee the training and upskilling of Training Mentors and staff to meet CQC standards.
  4. Support the delivery of Physical Intervention training programs.
  5. Monitor and update our Learning Management System to ensure training records are up-to-date.
  6. Ensure key compliance training is up-to-date, including Care Certificate, mandatory training, and competency assessments.
  7. Contribute to The Bridge's training content and manage compliance for both in-person and virtual learning.
  8. Conduct needs analyses and provide recommendations to address gaps and opportunities.
  9. Work in partnership with our homes and other central functions to ensure Learning & Development is aligned with organizational goals.
  10. Introduce teaching methods to ensure training sessions are engaging and tailored to the audience.
  11. Monitor and evaluate training programs' effectiveness and report on them.
  12. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  13. Support the development of content, framework, process, training, and tools for a comprehensive Management Development program.
  14. Update and partner with the Training Manager on relevant initiatives, programs, or training changes.
  15. Experience in guiding, supporting, and training colleagues.
  16. Understanding of CQC requirements and compliance standards.
  17. Proficient user of IT, including Microsoft Office Tools.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Experience working within a training role.
  2. Good working understanding of organizational culture, business strategy, and priorities.
  3. Full UK driving license and ability to travel to different homes.
