Learning and Development Manager

The Bridge is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that align with our business goals and meet all compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement training programs to meet business goals and compliance requirements.
- Develop and lead training programs for staff, including training mentors and staff alike to meet CQC standards.
- Oversee and manage our Learning Management System to ensure training records are up to date and scheduled where required.
- Ensure key compliance training is up to date, including Care Certificate, mandatory training and competency assessments of staff.
- Contribute to The Bridge's training content and manage compliance for both in-person and virtual learning.
- Conduct comprehensive needs analyses on a continuous basis and provide recommendations to address gaps and/or potential opportunities.
- Work in partnership with our homes and other central functions to ensure appropriate scope and focus for Learning & Development in the organisation.
- Introduce teaching methods to ensure training sessions are meaningful and engaging.
- Monitor and evaluate training programs' effectiveness and success.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.
- Support the development of content, framework, process, training and tools for a comprehensive Management Development program.
Requirements:
- Experience in guiding, supporting and training colleagues.
- An understanding of CQC requirements and compliance standards.
- Proficient user of IT including Microsoft Office Tools.
- Experience of working within a training role.
- A trainer or teaching qualification.
- A good working understanding of organisational culture and business strategy.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to different homes.
