We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with emotional and social difficulties in a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH.
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to help students grow academically and personally.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to develop effective support plans for students with SEMH.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring all paperwork is up-to-date.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to foster good communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education.
  • Previous experience working in a SEN school setting.
  • Strong understanding of different SEMH needs and effective strategies for supporting students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
