Job Summary
Teesside is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join the Neurodevelopment Assessment Team. This role involves working with children and young people to identify language concerns and develop strategies to address them.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to provide diagnostic outcomes and contribute to the development of care plans. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This position comes with an estimated salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and are registered with HCPC, we encourage you to apply.

About the Position
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and young people and has a passion for speech and language therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience working in mental health or learning disabilities and be comfortable using multimedia materials for presentations in professional settings. We also welcome applications from those with experience supervising students on placement.

Key Duties
- Identify language concerns and ASD traits in children and young people
- Develop care plans to address language concerns
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals
- Contribute to quality improvement activities

Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registration with HCPC
- Experience working in mental health or learning disabilities
- Post-graduate training in specialist areas relevant to the role (e.g., Intensive Interaction, Talking Mats, Dysphagia, Autism)
