About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Kurdish interpreter to work with us in various settings across the UK.

As a freelance interpreter, you will be working independently but supported by our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the source language, then reproducing the speech into the target language with 100% accuracy.
  • You will interpret for people using legal, health and local government services, check the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence, and liaise between the service user and service provider.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and Kurdish.
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must be aged 21 or over.
  • Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or Community Interpreting are advantageous.
