Job Title: Speech and Language Therapy Professional

Location: Scarborough

Estimated Salary: 83.34 - 96 GBP per day

We are seeking a highly organised and skilled professional to support our school's Speech and Language Therapists in delivering therapy sessions for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Speech and Language Therapists in planning and delivering targeted interventions.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the therapy team.
  • Help students generalise new skills in various settings, including classroom and social environments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to therapy sessions, student progress, and interventions.
  • Assist in creating resources and activities that support the development of speech and language skills.
  • Provide support during assessments and evaluations as required by the Speech and Language Therapists.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in speech therapy, child development, or special educational needs is desirable.
  • Able to organise and manage therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.
  • A relevant qualification in child development, education, or speech and language therapy assistance is preferred but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
