Job Title: Healthcare Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Operations Specialist to join our team at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Shrewsbury, MA. As a key member of our Health Care Finance Solutions group, you will play a critical role in administering the State Supplement Program (SSP) on behalf of the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive case reviews to determine client benefit eligibility by researching, analyzing and validating data.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of client cases.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve program efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, 1-3 years of related business experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of public assistance programs.
  • Case management, client assistance or customer service experience.
