Job Title: SSP Case Manager

Location: Shrewsbury, MA

Estimated Salary: $75,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented SSP Case Manager to join our team at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Shrewsbury, MA. As a key member of our Health Care Finance Solutions group, you will play a critical role in administering the State Supplement Program (SSP) on behalf of the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive case reviews to determine client benefit eligibility by researching, analyzing and validating data.

  • Evaluate and monitor client cases to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Identify potential quality assurance, quality control, program integrity and system issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified issues.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, 1-3 years of related business experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of public assistance programs.
  • Case management, client assistance or customer service experience.
