At CV-Library, we are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Shrewsbury. As a valued member of our regional practice, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

We estimate that this role comes with an annual salary range of £34,000. The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience gained within an accountancy practice or bureau setting, with knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or BrightPay.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll data received from clients on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Provide accurate reports and summary information for payments
  • PAYE registrations and auto-enrolment of new employees and leavers
  • Liaise with clients and handle HMRC requests
  • Additional related calculations (JRS, holiday pay, redundancy, CIS, SSP, SMP, SPP)

Requirements:

  • Previous payroll experience gained within an accountancy practice or bureau setting is ideal
  • Practical knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or BrightPay
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet regular deadlines
