Job Overview

At Joël Robuchon International, we are seeking an exceptional Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our pastry department, you will work closely with our Head Pastry Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our production kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
  • Production and Quality Control: Assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of desserts, ensuring that all pastries are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is stocked and organized.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train junior pastry staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Scheduling and Organization: Monitor and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control, ensuring that all products meet our standards before delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a production kitchen or bakery.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and a passion for creating high-quality desserts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
