At Teign Housing, we are seeking a skilled Senior Community Enforcement Advisor to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in their community.
About the RoleWe are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building sustainable communities. As a Senior Community Enforcement Advisor, you will be central to everything we do, helping us create cleaner, greener, and safer neighbourhoods.
You will oversee the implementation of our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Policy and Procedure, ensuring that our Community Housing Officers and Independence and Wellbeing Advisers act consistently and appropriately. You will review cases, provide advice on complex situations, and take the lead on multi-agency liaison.
Your primary goal will be to ensure that residents are informed and educated about the role of Teign Housing and other agencies in tackling ASB and tenancy breaches. You will prepare cases for court and liaise with our legal specialists and partner agencies.
This role requires strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, procedure, and best practice, as well as experience in housing management and/or managing ASB. You should have awareness of welfare benefits, particularly housing benefits, and experience of supporting residents with mental health illnesses.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and oversee the ASB Policy and Procedure
- Review cases and provide advice on complex situations
- Liaise with partner agencies and prepare cases for court
- Educate residents about Teign Housing's role in tackling ASB and tenancy breaches
Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in housing management and/or managing ASB, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with vulnerable residents and senior professionals.
