Accounts Payable Clerk Role

REC Financial is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide support in all aspects of Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Transaction Finance.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Enter supplier invoices onto the Purchase Ledger
  2. Prepare payments to suppliers
  3. Reconcile supplier statements
  4. Raise queries through the appropriate channel and resolve them in a timely manner
  5. Manage customer invoice runs
  6. Support with Credit Control as required
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
  2. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  3. Strong numeracy, communication, and negotiation skills
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  5. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  6. Proven team player
