">About the Opportunity:
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neonatal nursing team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to critically ill newborns and their families.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centered care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and support junior staff.
About Our Team:
Our neonatal nursing team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families. We pride ourselves on our collaborative and supportive work environment, which fosters ongoing learning and professional development.
Salary: £48,514 - £62,894 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
- Provide expert clinical care to critically ill newborns
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Support junior staff and pre-registration student nurses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Requirements:
- Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Midwife qualification
- Experience at senior staff nurse level within neonatal nursing
- Excellent clinical skills and leadership abilities
- Demonstrable ability to make clinical decisions and manage the care of neonatal conditions
