Job Title: DC Controls Specialist

About the Role:

  1. We are seeking an experienced DC Controls Specialist to join our team at Integral UK Ltd.
  2. Your primary responsibility will be designing and developing DC control systems for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
  3. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing DC control systems, conduct site surveys and assessments to determine client needs and system requirements.
  4. As a DC Controls Specialist, you will create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
  5. You will operate all MEP systems within the Critical Facility/Data Centre in a competent and confident manner.
  6. Evaluate specialist vendor service visits, ensuring quality work is inspected and recommendations communicated to the duty JLL FM team and Account Manager.
  7. Undertake site-specific technical assessments and skills gap analysis.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  9. Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry standards in DC controls.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in critical environments such as banking HQ and data centres.
  2. LV Authorised Person qualification (bonus points if certified).
  3. Degree or HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  4. 17th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation certification (18th edition training provided if required).
  5. C&G 2391 test and inspection qualification.
  6. Excellent IT and report writing skills.
