Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. This role will involve working alongside customers, account managers, service and project teams to identify risks and opportunities for clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing energy strategies, creating roadmaps for future-proofing systems, and providing high-level technical support to project and service teams.

In this role, you will be working on static state commission, bringing the control system and designated plant interfaces to full operation, ensuring that it performs according to the project specification and designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications and designs, identifying any commission or software ability issues with the project manager.
  • Validate assumptions made during solution design, building a detailed cost estimate and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with Operations.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and other customer communication documents.
  • Work to the project's software and commissioning requirements.
  • Present a positive attitude, improving customer satisfaction in all areas.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS site card & SSSTS certified.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • GCSE 'O' level pass grade and/or electrical/electronic NVQ qualifications.
  • Experience in configuring controllers and actuators on AHUs and terminal units.
  • HVAC knowledge/experience.
  • Experience in fault finding in electrical starter/controls circuits and setting into operation of starters and associated rotating plant.
  • Experience in operating and setting into operation of variable speed drives.
  • BMS Industry standards protocols.
  • Experience working on small to medium size (£10K to £150K) existing Service projects and small construction site projects.
  • Willingness to travel outside Scotland.
