About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at Talent Finder. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children and young people in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager and Registered Manager in providing leadership and direction to the team
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the well-being and development of young people
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure excellent practice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve outstanding outcomes
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an acting Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's home
  • Two years' recent experience in children's/young people's residential care
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic strategies and ability to work with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
  • Sound understanding of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) procedures
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Full manual driver's licence
