About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer Electrical to join our Active Vehicle Control (AVC) team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for providing support to Principal Engineers and external specialists during development, analysis, integration, and verification of platform control and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake C&I system design, providing advice and producing evidence in support of legislative, safety, and technical requirements
  • Liaise with internal and external customers as part of a technical team
  • Undertake peer reviews
  • Articulate and present technical arguments clearly, logically, and simply
  • Coordinate and execute engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner
  • Take notice of timescale and quality standards as well as provide leadership where required

About You

  • A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background
  • Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system design, verification, test design, or parts specification would be advantageous
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle and technical specialities
  • Working towards relevant Professional Registration
