Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital pharmacy and a strong commitment to patient-focused care.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including clinical services, dispensing, aseptic services, and counselling. They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.

Person Specification

Experience/Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 / BTEC in pharmacy services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification
  • Registration with the GPhC
  • Accredited Checking Technician Qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Recent dispensing experience

Desirable

  • Recent hospital dispensing experience (6 months in the last 2 years)
  • Outpatient counselling
  • Clinical ward-based pharmacy and medicines management experience
  • Experience of aseptic dispensing
