About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care to our communities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Participating in clinical services, dispensing, aseptic services, counselling, and clinical trials
  • Developing your skills in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 / BTEC in pharmacy services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Accredited Checking Technician Qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Recent dispensing experience
