Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. Main Duties

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including clinical services, dispensing, aseptic services, counselling, and clinical trials. You will work closely with our team to develop your skills and expertise in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.

Person Specification

Experience/Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 / BTEC in pharmacy services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Accredited Checking Technician Qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Recent dispensing experience

Desirable

  • Recent hospital dispensing experience (6 months in the last 2 years)
  • Outpatient counselling
  • Clinical ward-based pharmacy and medicines management experience
  • Experience of aseptic dispensing
