About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Cancer Services Pharmacy team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our Cancer pharmacists on the ward, providing a medicines management service that ensures the safe and effective delivery of care to our patients.

You will also be working closely with our Aseptic Team and Outsourcing Team to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective, and efficient service.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing a medicines management service to our Cancer pharmacists on the ward
  • Working closely with our Aseptic Team and Outsourcing Team to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective, and efficient service

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3/BTEC in Pharmacy Services
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Recent hospital experience
