Pharmacy Technician Role at Nuffield Health

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Shrewsbury Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-house pharmacy services for inpatients and outpatients
  • Assist with dispensing and procurement of pharmacy items
  • Carry out stock taking and replenishment of pharmacy items to wards and departments
  • Assist with clinical ward work and checking (if ACT and MM trained)
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent
  • Experience within a hospital pharmacy
  • Good IT skills, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation
  • Accredited Checking Technician qualification (desirable)
