About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and wards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-house pharmacy services, including dispensing and procurement of pharmacy items.
  • Assist with clinical ward work and checking, if trained in Medicines Management and Reconciliation.
  • Work closely with our Pharmacy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical staff and patients to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and proven post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work closely with patients and clinical staff.
  • Good IT skills, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation desirable.
