Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Pay: £12.90 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the classroom and help our students thrive as they prepare for their next educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom activities and resources.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • A passion for education and supporting student development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.
