Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers and students in a classroom environment, assisting with individual and group activities to enhance learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development in students.
  • Offer additional support to children with special needs, working collaboratively with teaching staff to develop tailored plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, contributing to the development of engaging and effective educational programs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address student needs, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a teaching assistant role is desirable, but not mandatory. Candidates with experience in support and care backgrounds will be considered due to their transferable skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them succeed, with a commitment to promoting social and emotional development.
