Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Primary Teacher to cover PPA across five classes in a reputable Primary School. The successful applicant will be working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, covering Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, and Year 5. The additional half-day will be spent teaching a small group of pupils in Year 5, focusing on closing gaps in learning in Mathematics.
About the School:
This is a reputable and over-subscribed Primary School with a well-respected Head Teacher and a low staff turnover rate. The school is known for its excellent resources and warm, welcoming environment. The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent behaviour management skills and follow the school's behaviour policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support pupils in Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, and Year 5
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Assist in the development and implementation of the school's curriculum
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals
- Contribute to the school's behaviour management and pastoral care
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of teaching in a Primary School setting
