Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support in one of our primary schools in the Preston area. The school has a secure and happy environment where all children can enjoy learning and develop lively and enquiring minds, in a safe, stimulating and secure environment.

About the Role
  • Supporting 3 high needs pupils, 2 with autism, in a primary school setting.
  • Working with a team of experienced educators to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, as well as providing one-to-one support to pupils.
  • Contributing to the development of a positive and respectful classroom culture.
Requirements
  • Level 3 or above qualification in teaching or a related field.
  • Experience working with pupils with high needs, particularly those with autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
