Teaching Assistant Opportunity in a Reputable Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 team in a reputable Primary School located in Preston. This is a full-time role, providing general class support in Year 3, and will begin on a specified date.

The Headteacher and SENCO recognize the vital role that support staff play in ensuring that pupils achieve their full potential and become confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals. The successful candidate will work alongside excellent teachers and support staff in this exciting and challenging post.

The ideal candidate will have high expectations of children in KS2 and a good understanding of English and Maths. They will also be working alongside children with educational needs, including emotional, social, and mental health needs, and an interest in supporting second language learners is essential. A caring, flexible, and common-sense approach is required.

To be considered, you must hold a Level 3 childcare-related qualification or equivalent. We offer a competitive rate of pay for this role, starting at £13.50 per hour.
