Smart Teachers is proud to launch its National Teaching Assistant Programme, designed to support individuals who want to start a Teaching Assistant career. We work with thousands of Special Needs Schools across England, providing high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.
The Role
The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital in the day-to-day running of Special Needs Schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced staff to support students with special educational needs. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work with students of varying abilities will make you an asset to our team.
What We Offer
We provide ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and a comprehensive training programme delivered by Smart Teachers and school leaders. This will give you the essential skills you need to work as a Teaching Assistant. You will also receive paid on-the-job experience, allowing you to develop your skills in a real-world setting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with students of varying abilities. You will also need to be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior to starting your placement, you will be required to complete a training programme, which will give you the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this role.
