Special Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at CER Education Recruitment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing personalised support and assistance to our students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons and activities.
• Support students with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Assist in the implementation of behavioural interventions and strategies to support positive behaviour management.

Contract Details:
This is a 1-year contract basis from September, 5 days a week term time only.
