Job Opportunity: Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our team as a Special Education Needs (SEN) teacher in a secondary school setting in Lambeth, Greater London.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a qualified teacher with experience working with students who have SEN. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN regulations and best practices in education.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with varying SEN requirements
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support when necessary
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to create individual education plans for students
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting
  • Understanding of SEN regulations and best practices in education
