Business Development Manager for Meetings and Events

We are seeking a seasoned Meetings and Conferences Sales Professional to join our team at Hotel MK Ltd. This dynamic role is responsible for growing new and lapsed meetings and events business through agents and direct corporate clients.
The ideal candidate will have a background in meetings and events sales, either in a venue or agency setting. They should be able to identify prospects, unearth leads, build relationships, and win new business.
This role requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders. The ability to think strategically and set clear sales objectives aligned with business goals is essential.
Key responsibilities include conducting site visits to showcase the venue and its capabilities, networking and attending industry events to build relationships, and securing profitable bookings against budget.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
