Quality Analyst Job Description

Pertemps Bond is seeking a highly skilled Quality Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical, microbiological, and flavour analyses in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Quality Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all analyses are conducted in accordance with UKAS or GxP standards.
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment in site laboratories to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilizing LIMS systems for data handling and information processing.
  • Dispatching samples to client sites and outside agencies in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • A relevant science degree.
  • Current laboratory experience, preferably in the Brewing and/or Food and Beverage Industry.
  • Experience with problem-solving techniques is an added bonus.

Working Hours and Pay:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • 09.00am to 17.00pm hours, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
  • A competitive hourly rate of £15.75.

This role may require flexibility to work shifts due to the 24/7 operation of Tadcaster Brewery, and occasional cover for the microbiology team.
