About the Job

This challenging yet rewarding role involves working with young people aged 8-18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours. As a Support Worker for Young People with Emotional Difficulties, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to help them overcome their difficulties and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the staff, parents, Social Workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
  • Providing support for the children and young people in the home and promoting their independence and well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People, with experience in a residential children's home environment being desirable. A full driving licence is essential, as you may be required to transport the young people at times.
