About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Personalized Care: Provide a range of personal and practical care to our residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship.
  • Respect and Dignity: Ensure that all residents feel valued, respected, and dignified, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to deliver tailored care and support, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the changing needs of residents and the care home, working well under pressure and as part of a team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health & social care, with previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
  • Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and written skills, committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect, and a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care.
