About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at EDF UK. As a key member of our Hinkley Point C project, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to the Hinkley Point C CDM Client and Principal Contractor management teams
  • Conduct risk-based monitoring and develop project-specific risk profiles to support targeted inspections and assurance activities
  • Ensure Designers and Principal Contractors adhere to the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of national and international HSE standards, as well as the CDM Regulations
  • A proven record of achieving excellent safety outcomes on major engineering and construction projects
  • Experience managing health and safety in high-risk environments and coordinating between contractors to resolve safety interface issues
  • A NEBOSH HSE Diploma or equivalent qualification
