The Role: Health & Safety Advisor - Hinkley Point C

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C nuclear power station project in Somerset. As part of our commitment to safety, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all operations adhere to the highest industry standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Health & Safety Management Systems aligned with ISO 45001 standards.
  • Contribute to the establishment of company-wide H&S objectives, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze HS&E performance data and prepare detailed reports for monthly and yearly reviews.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the project team on all aspects of Health & Safety.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with H&S regulations and company policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, such as NVQ, IOSH, or NEBOSH (Construction preferred).
  • Proven experience working as a SHE Advisor within the construction industry.
  • Accredited Incident Investigation qualification (e.g., Kelvin TOPSET, ROSPA, or NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation).
  • Experience auditing to ISO 45001 standard.
