RADIOACTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT LIMITED seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer Specialist to join their team in Cumbria. This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.

Job Description:
  • Produce high-quality mechanical design deliverables, including specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure they understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Check and revise simple mechanical design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.

In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver engineering projects and tasks on the LLWR site. You will also provide technical support to the Systems Engineering and Operations and Maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 4 apprenticeship and be accredited with an appropriate professional institution. They should have demonstrable design experience and be familiar with 2D CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
