About the Role

At National Nuclear Laboratory, we're committed to delivering exceptional engineering support to our teams. As a Mechanical Technical Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing expertise and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our infrastructure.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

  • You will be responsible for developing pragmatic solutions that meet the objectives of the organisation in a cost-effective manner.
  • Support maintenance activities by implementing and maintaining the technical basis of maintenance (TBoM) process.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are clearly briefed, understood, and performed safely and on schedule.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in a mechanical discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements.
