Mechanical Systems Designer

Job Purpose:
RADIOACTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT LIMITED has a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer within our busy team on the LLW Repository in Cumbria.
This role is aligned to the delivery of engineering projects and tasks on the LLWR site. You will work within the mechanical engineering team, reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering projects and tasks on the LLWR site
- Work with the mechanical engineering team to develop and implement engineering solutions
- Provide technical expertise to support the delivery of engineering projects
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Relevant industry experience, preferably in nuclear waste management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
