Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in East Lancashire. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with EBD and ADHD, providing one-to-one support and helping them access the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised support to a child with complex needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop strategies to engage the child and promote their emotional well-being.
- Monitor and track progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Contribute to break-time and lunchtime supervision, ensuring the child's safety and inclusion.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with EBD, ADHD, or other special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An Enhanced DBS check.
Estimated Salary: Up to £17.71 per hour.
