Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a year 1 class at a primary school in East Lancashire. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom management
  • Provide one-on-one and small group learning support for pupils
  • Assist with break time and playground supervision
  • Offer positive feedback and encouragement to students
  • Help in the preparation and delivery of lesson plans and activities

Requirements:

  • Experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
