Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Working closely with the Accounting and Finance department to provide insightful financial data and drive business decisions.
  • Providing financial support and guidance to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, managers and team members.
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes and systems within the Finance department to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Participating in strategic planning and decision making to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards to maintain a high level of integrity.
  • Collaborating with other team members on finance-related projects to achieve business goals.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements to provide timely and accurate financial information.
  • Supporting the preparation of in-year and year-end periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements.

Requirements

  • CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in the property industry.
  • An ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working in a housebuilding or contracting team (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience of financial forecasting and management.
