This is a newly created opportunity for a Finance Business Partner who will work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners, delivering positive physical and economic development. The successful candidate will be adept at providing financial insights, support and guidance in a fast-paced work environment.

Our client is a large organisation in the property industry, with a strong national presence. They employ over 1,000 individuals and are known for their commitment to employee development and fostering a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Working closely with the Accounting & Finance department to provide insightful financial data.
  • Providing financial support and guidance to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes and systems within the Finance department.
  • Participating in strategic planning and decision making.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with other team members on finance-related projects.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Supporting the preparation of in-year and year-end periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Requirements:

  • CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in the property industry.
  • An ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Experience of working in a housebuilding/contracting team (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience of financial forecasting and management.
