Director of Student Inclusion and Belonging

Widener University is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Director of Student Inclusion and Belonging. This key position plays a critical role in fostering a campus climate that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote DEIB within the student body
- Cultivate student leadership and collaboration with campus partners
- Supervise and support the Office of Student Inclusion and Belonging team
- Engage with faculty, staff, and students to advance the mission of the OSIB and the university
- Assess and report on programming initiatives and outcomes
- Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, or a related field
- Five years of professional experience in student affairs or a related area
- Strong interest in and appreciation of DEIB, with evidence of successful initiatives and measurable outcomes
- Established subject matter knowledge and skill in navigating and helping others navigate matters of differences
