- Facilitate Student Support Sessions: Facilitate drop-in sessions for students to discuss their concerns and achievements in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
- Lead Progress Meetings: Organise and lead progress meetings to provide students with personalised feedback and guidance, helping them to set and achieve their academic goals.
- Build Trust and Fostering a Sense of Community: Engage actively with students to build trust and foster a sense of community within our online platform, ensuring that every student feels connected and supported.
- Previous Experience in Education: Previous experience working with students or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other educational professionals.
- Mentoring and Coaching Experience: Experience in mentoring or coaching young people, with a strong understanding of the importance of building trust and rapport.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse students, with a flexible and patient approach to supporting individuals with varying needs.
- Commitment to Inclusive Practice: A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, with a deep understanding of the importance of promoting equality and diversity.
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field, are highly desirable.
- Enhanced DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check or the willingness to obtain one is required for this role.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary of £21,472 - £26,003 per annum, depending on experience.
